Kate Middleton is still wearing the same riding boots today that she owned a decade ago. She was first spotted in the Penelope Chilvers boots in 2004 at the Festival of British Eventing. And she recently brought them out while visiting Bella Bella, British Columbia. We're not sure if she has held on to the same exact pair for 12 years or if she buys them again and again, but they have made a great fashion statement on both occasions.

On Monday, she styled them with black pants, a white sleeveless vest, a blue sweater, and a plaid blouse. The leather boots cost around $618, but the timeless design makes them a smart investment. There's a scalloped edge and a fringe tassel near the zipper that add subtle detail to the classic shoes, which look great with just about anything. Scroll down to see Kate Middleton in the boots.
