Remember when Elle Macpherson had a five-episode stint on the classic television show Friends? The Australian supermodel played Janine Lacroix, Joey Tribbiani's super hot dancer roommate—who he ended up dating. Well, fun fact: Macpherson regrets accepting the role. Apparently, she had no idea at the time how popular Friends would come to be, and she said she would've reconsidered her part on the show had she known.

"If I'd known how important it was in the U.S.—or how long it would be on TV—I may not have chosen to do it," Macpherson told Australia's TV Week. "It was a lot of pressure if you look at it in the way that it will be around for 20 or 30 years." OK, that's fair. Being on a major sitcom is a huge deal—especially if that sitcom happens to be the incredibly timeless classic Friends.

Macpherson also revealed she turned down additional episodes of Friends because she was living in London. And while that's a totally valid reason to wrap up an acting stint at five episodes, we still * kind of * wish we'd seen her character's story arc play out a little differently. Like, more of Tribbiani and Lacroix's roomie romance? Yes please.

All that said, Macpherson had nothing but praise for her time on the show. The supermodel reported that Matt LeBlanc (who played Tribbiani) was a "great working partner" and a "good kisser." So at least there's that. Plus, her 13-year-old son thinks it's super cool that his mom was on Friends. "[He and his friends] are always like, 'Oh you know Cy’s mum, she is on Friends,'" she said. "They haven’t figured out it was nearly 20 years ago. They still think I am on Friends."

Ugh, what a life.
