Whether you're facing the Monday ahead or battling the aftereffects of a Saturday night out, Sundays can be tough. Luckily, Saturday Night Live arrived just in time to distract us from the week ahead with two new hilarious-as-usual skits: one featuring Jennifer Aniston and another, featuring SNL host Emma Stone, that speaks truth to the whole awkward business of casual-acquaintance Christmas gift giving.

First up, a bit of '90s nostalgia courtesy of Jennifer Aniston. If you're a "Weekend Update" fan, you probably know that Vanessa Bayer regularly does a spot-on impression of Aniston's Friends character Rachel in the sketch. But the real Rach? Turns out, she's not really a fan.

Bit of background: Aniston and Bayer appear together in the upcoming movie Office Christmas Party. So Aniston stopped by the SNL set to ask her co-star to please stop texting her and to tell her that maybe it's time for her to move on from Friends because it was "like, five million and five years ago."

"I don't know I just, I thought because I do this great bit as Rachel..." said Bayer.

"Is it a great bit, though?" Aniston replied.

But even though she's not so into it, Aniston played along long enough to mimic Bayer's impression of her in what culminated in an epic Rachel extravaganza peppered with a lot of "whats" and "wells" and "ohs." Plus, getting to see Aniston next to Bayer in that Rachel-haircut wig? Priceless.

And finally, SNL brought to light a couple of pretty standard awkward holiday gift-giving situations: You have a holiday gathering on the horizon, but your gift budget is maxed out. Or, you have to get an obligatory present for someone you don't know. Or maybe you just forgot to get a gift. In these situations, the only thing to do is reach for that random unused candle someone once got you, slap a bow on it, and send it back out into the world.

Stone, along with cast members Kate McKinnon and Aidy Bryant, come together in the sketch to form a '90s girl group in the music video about the other, "more powerful Christmas savior." First, the trio takes us through the plight of a woman who needs to find a gift for a coworker she doesn't really know or care about. Enter the generic peach candle that's been sitting in her closet next to a bike pump for a year.

Then, we see that same candle re-gifted again. This time, a woman is faced with an unexpected gift from an acquaintance. Luckily, while rummaging in her purse for something to give in return, she comes across the candle from her boyfriend's mom and hands it over, setting the cycle of candle re-gifting in motion again. But a word from the wise to recycling gift-givers: Bryant reminds us in the video that two gifts aren't always better than one, and pairing the candle with a random lotion or something only makes both gifts seem less important.

We all can acknowledge that re-gifting a candle isn't necessarily the ideal holiday present for anyone, in the end, the whole thing actually has a nice message: The re-gifted candle unites us all on its journey around the world. In the words of SNL, "it's the gift of having a gift to give away."
